The YSI In-service workshops take place in different regions each year and are strongly recommended for YSI Guides particularly if you are new to the YSI programme. Facilitators are YSI Guides. You get all the information and skills to lead your students through the YSI programme within your school/centre.

Workshop 1: Getting Started
- Helps YSI Guides through the process of setting up and running the YSI programme over the course of the year in their education setting.
- Provides resources and sharing of information withthose who have experienced the Programme.
- Introduces you and takes you through the 10 stages of your YSI project.
Workshop 2: YSI Creative Communications Workshop for YSI Guides
- Includes creative communications and using media in social education.
- Gives all the information you need to help participants prepare for a Speak
Out forum
- Guides you through the preparation and submission of a project report.
- Helps prepare you for the YSI Showcase.
