Alumni Internships

YSI are now offering exciting internship roles within its organisation to alumni of the YSI programmes.

You may be at college and looking for some real life work experience to compliment your course of studies. You may be job seeking at present and would value the opportunity to use skills you have developed through previous professional roles or study. Why not apply for an internship at YSI – help to make a difference and improve your C.V at the same time.  All roles are flexible and based around availability of selected applicants (not suitable for full time second level students).

You must be signed up as a member of the YSI Alumni Network to be eligible to apply for any internship positions.

Role: Alumni Societies Officer

This role is suited to an enthusiastic, friendly individual with excellent presentation and organizational skills. Previous experience in communications and/or societies would be beneficial. Full training will be provided. Position might suit person studying or in part time employment.

Digital Media Assistant

The applicant will want to gain experience in the area of digital media production. They will have a good working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and be confident in preparing video material for upload onto hosting sites such as You Tube. A good working knowledge of photoshop and/or illustrator is also desirable. Access to a computer with video editing software is advantageous. (This may be an alternative software package such as Adobe Premier).

Role: Fundraising & Marketing Officer

The applicant will want to gain experience in the area of research for fundraising and marketing. They will have succinct writing skills and computer skills and have proven experience in meeting deadlines. Position might suit person studying or in part time employment.
