Eye Am Me

Issue of Social Concern:Inclusion: counteracting sterotypes and developing cultural sensitivity through photography.
Goal of Project:In conjuction with the Face Off Team (Peace III), the project aims to address the issue of stereotyping people from minority groups (travellers / foreign nationals) in a derogatory and negative way. Learners will look at stereotypes through images and will then take photos of eyes from people in minority groups (and their own), conveying the message of how we see people and how other people see the world through their eyes.

Making a Mark on Our Park

Goal of Project:We would like to develop our town park, by making new activities for people who visit the park, especially national school children. We hope to do this by developing a nature and treasure trail for children. We also hope to develop a room above the cafe which will give visitors information about the town park and the activities available in the park. We hope that when national schools and families visit the town park they will have a fun experience.
