Social Innovation Programme

Getting involved in the YSI Social Innovation Programme couldn’t be easier. The programme is open to all 15-18 year olds in:

Transition Year

5th Year

Youthreach Centres

Youth services

Youth groups/ clubs

Garda Youth Diversion projects

Centres of Social Innovators

Special needs groups

Northern Ireland Youth Services

Northern Ireland second level schools/educational organisations

Teams must be between 5 and 25 members and must have one adult to act as the YSI Guide for the project. The YSI Guide may be a teacher / educator or a youth leader or parent.

The programme typically runs for an academic year, from September to May.
