YSI Social Innovation Fun and Den

The YSI Social Innovation Fund is there to support social innovators and entrepreneurs who are developing their project further and need help with money, means or mentoring. The Fund contains a range of help to assist!

How do you apply for help?

YSI social innovation teams can apply for selection to the YSI Den where a panel of Dragons listen to their to ideas for development. If successful, YSI teams can come away with money and/or other help from the Fund!

Who is eligible?

All YSI teams can apply to make a pitch to the YSI Den. A number of projects will be selected each year. If your team is selected and you confirm acceptance to pitch, you nominate a maximum of 3 team representatives to make the pitch to the YSI panel.

What Can Teams Ask the YSI Panel for?

Teams can ask for money, means or mentors… whatever they need to help your project develop and keep making a difference.
YSI projects come up with many different responses and actions to social issues and local needs. If, for example, a team wantsto set up a youth café, roll out a mental health awareness campaign, publish material or run a competition, they can think about using the YSI Den as a way to progress their project a bit further.

How do I Apply to the YSI Den?

Applications to the YSI Den can be made online by logging into My YSI and clicking on the YSI Den Option. Alternatively, download a YSI Den Application Form and return to YSI. All YSI Den applications must be received before 2nd March 2012 to be eligible for consideration. Selections for the YSI Den will be posted on our website on 21st March 2012.
