YSI gives opportunities to young people to practice and develop skills which can be used to create new responses to peoples needs while at the same time learning about values of fairness, justice and social responsibility.
YSI cannot do this alone. Its programmes are built on the combined vision, efforts of many individuals, organisations, and companies working together to FIRE YOUNG PEOPLE’S PASSION TO CHANGE THE WORLD FOR GOOD.

YSI provides a network of support, resources, platforms and opportunities to young people to get involved in social enterprises in their local areas, in every county in Ireland.
One of our major challenges every year is raising funds to deliver the YSI programme of events and activities! We have great sponsors and partners to help us. However, as with many charities, YSI has reduced funding available.
YSI is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status.
Your support and funds will help us to provide the YSI programme to more and more young people in Ireland. This year alone we are:

Enabling over 5,500 young people to take part this year in almost 400 projects in local communities.
Providing training to all participating teachers and youth leaders (YSI Guides).
Developing new resources for young people and YSI Guides.
Hosting at least 12 regional Speak Out events in Ireland to give every YSI project a platform.
Organising a large scale Annual Showcase at which the title Young Social Innovators of the Year will be selected.
Developing new initiatives such as The YSI Den and the YSI Centres of Social Innovators programme
Supporting many organisations and causes all over Ireland.
