What’s a Social Innovator?

It’s someone who thinks creatively about how to make a difference to the lives of others and actually then, does that!

The way you make a difference is as important as what you do. You need to think about how you can get other people on board; how you can learn about what it is that concerns you and how you can include those affected by the issue.

Important things to think about are how to act in a way that is empowering, gives everyone a chance, is fair and considers peoples rights and responsibilities.

YSI encourages you to practice social innovation. The more practice, the better you become. YSI project work is a good way to practice. So get involved!
