YSI For Centres

What is a Centre of Social Innovators?

  • It's a place which is committed to and builds new ways to encourage, educate, motivate, and celebrate social awareness and citizenship education amongst young people in Ireland.
  • It’s a place which shares the YSI vision to fire young people’s passion to change the world for good.
  • It is a centre which encourages youth-led, team-based, social action projects which work to create a more caring community and society.
  • It's a place which provides new opportunities to encourage, facilitate, communicate and celebrate the socail action of young people.
  • It’s a place where young people learn that they can make a difference.
  • Everyone in the community (local and school/centre) has a part to play in growing young social innovators.”
