Eddie Shaw, YSI Board Member

Eddie Shaw is Director of Public Relations and Dissemination in Carr Communications. Eddie has more than forty years’ business experience, gained primarily in the financial services, insurance, reinsurance, investment management and more recently  communications in European Research Projects. Since he joined Carr Communications, Eddie has provided education, training, dissemination and development services to a number of public and private sector organisations. He currently provides strategic advice and counsel to clients on internal and external dissemination strategies. He has an in-depth understanding of the relationship between evidence based data and research, policy development and operational success. Eddie is a member of the Steering Group of a number of Horizon2020 EU-funded projects. He has a BComm and M.B.A. from University College Dublin and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
