Project Goal
1. to raise awareness of elderly loneliness and 2. to get involved as a YSI group to improve elderly loneliness in our community. 3. To introduce this idea to our school community and embed it in our TY curriculum.

We are working as a TY YSI group to research, raise awareness and get involved in initiatives to improve elderly loneliness in our communities. To do this we plan on organising an event in our school and invite grandparents from our school community in and hosting an event. We also plan on visiting an old-folks home over a period of 6 weeks in March/April. Finally we would like this to become part of the TY promgramme in our school
