Brian Ingarfield, YSI Board Member

Brian Ingarfield is currently COO with FreightSpeed – a specialist logistics company of 300+ people serving the pharmaceutical sector. Brian is an experienced and well-rounded leader with a track-record of improving performance and future viability of every organisation in which he has worked. Brian also has a strong interest in community and NGO activity as is currently a Non-executive Director of Aidlink, a Non-executive Director of Secret Street Tours,  a Soup Run volunteer with the Simon Community and a mentor for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in London. Previous board experience includes CarTrawler’s insurance subsidiary,  Irish Colleges in Europe and Darndale Belcamp Initiative.

Strong performance in two fast scaling b2b technology unicorns with Flipdish and prior to that as senior executive with a broad remit of responsibility in travel technology business Car Trawler that scaled to a $1 billion company and was acquired twice in his time as well as acquiring other businesses to strengthen performance. Key success factors through Brian’s career in different sectors include skilled relationship management; responsibility for multiple functions and P&L; managing transformational change projects; clear strategy definition and implementation; strong people inclusion releasing discretionary effort.
