Brian Ingarfield, YSI Board Member

Brian Ingarfield is an experienced leader with a strong track record of helping founders, managers and teams thrive in fast-scaling businesses. He currently serves as COO of FreightSpeed, a specialist logistics company serving the pharmaceutical sector, and has held senior leadership roles in high-growth technology businesses, including two unicorns, Flipdish and CarTrawler.

Across his career, Brian has led multiple functions and P&Ls, driven transformational change, developed and implemented strategy, and built high-performing teams. He understands the pace, complexity and unpredictability that come with rapid growth, and brings a calm, pragmatic and positive approach to helping organisations stay focused on their objectives while enabling their people to perform at their best.

Alongside his corporate career, Brian has spent over 15 years mentoring founders and managers and now dedicates his time to a fractional career focused on this work. He is also passionate about community and NGO activity, currently serving as a Non-executive Director of Aidlink and Secret Street Tours, as well as volunteering with the Simon Community and mentoring students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

I am involved in other NGOs (Simon Community, Aidlink, Secret Street Tours) and do a bit of running, sea swimming and hiking
