Join Our Team! We Are Looking For a Marketing & Communications Intern (Part-Time, 2 Days per Week)
Location: Hybrid (Dublin office + remote)
Start Date: Immediate.
Salary: €14 per hour (total weekly pay €196)
Line Manager: Social Innovation Development Manager
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Hours: 14 hours per week (2 days)

About the Role
YSI is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to support a range of projects aimed at promoting youth voice, participation, and social innovation. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in communications, content creation, and partnership research while contributing to meaningful, purpose-driven initiatives.
The intern will support YSI’s work across three key initiatives:
• Echoboard: A digital platform amplifying youth voice and innovation.
• Erasmus+ Youth Pulse Project: An international youth research and collaboration
initiative.
• YSI Youth Panel: A network of young people advising and shaping YSI’s work.
In addition, the intern will assist with research and analysis of corporate partners’ ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) priorities to inform YSI’s business development and partnership strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging social media and digital content across YSI platforms.
- Draft blog posts, newsletters, and short articles for YSI communications.
- Support marketing and communications activities for events and campaigns.
- Conduct desk-based research and analysis of corporate ESG and CSR strategies.
- Assist with monitoring media coverage and trends related to youth innovation and social impact.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance YSI’s storytelling and visibility.
Candidate Profile:
- Current undergraduate student in Communications, Marketing, Business, Media, or a related discipline.
- Strong written, research, and digital communication skills.
- Interest in youth engagement, social innovation, and sustainability.
- Confident using social media for communication and outreach.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
