YSI Speak Out Virtual Tour

And that's a wrap!

Last week, over 160 YSI teams across Ireland took part in the Speak Out Virtual Tour!

All year, YSI teams have been taking action on issues that matter to them! Last week, they spoke out about their innovative ideas for change our on bespoke digital platform. This platform is search by keyword, theme and location, and is still live for you to view projects and show your support. 

YSI teams also took part in our special '5 Days of Advocacy & Action Plan' which gave them tools to reach a wider audience with their message using social media, PR tips on speaking with the local press, and ideas on how to engage their local politcal representatives! Many teams were featured on local and national news stations, and were able to speak with local TDs and councillors about their initiatives.

Speak Out Virtual Tour Roadshow

Midweek, we also broadcast the Speak Out Virtual Tour Roadshow. Hosted by Virgin Media’s Zara King, it explored the range of issues being addressed by teenagers all around Ireland this year and featured interviews with some of the young people involved across the four provinces. Though held for the first time virtually this year, the Speak Out Tour remained a huge sucess! We want to congratulate all the teams on their hard work and dedication! We were proud of the videos that each team was able to create within such a challenging environment! Keep up the great work!
