Coláiste Muire, Ennis pupils moot age-friendly plan
Signage making motorists in Ennis aware of elderly pedestrians, reduced prices for pensioners and a lengthening of traffic light times. These are just some of the innovative ideas being put forward by Coláiste Muire pupils who believe that the town has the potential to become an Age Friendly Town.
Cafe ‘Boomerang’ to be opened for the Summer!
It is hoped the long-awaited youth cafe for Drogheda now named the Boomerang Cafe will be open to young people by summer of this year.

YSI students of Loreto Secondary School, Fermoy aim to combat regional homelessness this year.
The project entitled ‘Homeless Not Helpless’, focuses on giving a helping hand to those on the streets. Inspired by the recent harsh winters, the project attempts to raise awareness, reduce stereotypes and help the homeless survive the difficult winter months.
