Sprints are designed to empower students to tackle pressing issues through creative problem-solving and community-focused innovation.
Young people aged 12–24
How it works?
Sign up below and we'll send you everything you need to deliver the sprint with your young people including step-by-step resources and training videos. We're here to support you every step of the way.
Sprint Options:
Each sprint is centred on a theme and guides participants from initial exploration of a topic to the development of actionable ideas that can make a real impact in their local communities.
We currently offer two options: Climate Catalyst, focused on climate change and sustainability, and Inclusive Futures, focused on inclusion, equity, and social justice.
Climate Catalyst:
Participants look at how human behaviour affects the environment, explore climate inequality, and turn local ideas into global impact.
- Climate Change and Social Innovation: Look at real projects tackling climate change, calculate your carbon footprint, and see how climate change affects people differently around the world.
- Climate Justice: Explore climate justice, and what climate finance and compensation actually mean.
- Circular Economy: Learn the basics of the circular economy, redesign an everyday item, and come up with circular ideas for your community.
- Take Action: Plan your idea, find the right people to influence, and pitch it to decision-makers.
Inclusive Futures:
Participants look at their own community and use empathy to design ideas that make a real difference.
- Inclusion and Social Innovation: Understand diversity, equity, and discrimination, and look at real projects making communities more inclusive.
- Exploring Your Community: Map your community, spot who's included and who isn't, and connect it to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Empathy and Design Thinking: Use empathy mapping and Human-Centred Design to understand different perspectives and build better solutions.
- Creative Solutions: Apply what you've learned and share your idea for a more inclusive future.
