Chief Executive Officer – Young Social Innovators
About The Role
Young Social Innovators (YSI) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation into its next chapter. Having marked its 25th anniversary in 2026 and entering the final year of its current strategic plan, the CEO will shape the strategic direction of YSI in partnership with the Board.
The post holder will have the opportunity to ensure that young people’s own ideas for tackling the social issues they care about are heard and acted on, and that youth voice runs through every level of the organisation. As the public representative of YSI for education, government, funders, community groups and the media, the CEO will grow YSI's profile and reach, and secure the sustainable funding YSI needs to continue to deliver meaningful programmes.
The role requires a committed leader with a genuine belief in what young people can achieve when given the tools to lead change - who can also continue to inspire a growing team, diversify the organisation’s income and act as a credible public voice for youth social innovation across the island of Ireland.
