YSI Speak Out Tour
The YSI Speak Out Tour brings together all of the senior YSI teams in their regions usually throughout the month of March. Each Speak Out event is attended by hundreds of teenagers who are given the opportunity to present their projects to their peers, invited guests and a YSI Panel. These high energy, inspirational events give all young people the opportunity to speak out and be heard on the issues that matter to them. Find Out More
YSI Den (optional for shortlisted teams who apply)
Through the YSI Den, a YSI Social Innovation Fund is accessed by teams who successfully pitch to our Dragons for assistance in increasing their social impact and developing an idea, product or enterprise. YSI teams can apply to be considered for the YSI Den which takes place late January / early February each year. YSI Guides receive information along with an invitation to their team(s) to apply usually pre-Christmas. The YSI Den is an optional element for teams to consider entering. Find out more
YSIWeek
#YSIweek is a local and national celebration of youth-led social innovation. All YSI teams are encouraged to showcase their projects locally during this dedicated week (usually held in early April) and to celebrate how their innovative ideas and actions are changing the world for good. Teams are encouraged to involve their wider community in the celebration of their work. Find out more.
Young Social Innovators of the Year Ireland Awards
The Young Social Innovators of the Year Ireland Awards takes place in May each year and celebrates and recognises excellence in youth-led social innovation. Shortlisted senior YSI teams are invited to compete for national Award and Challenge Awards and titles at the event. One team will be crowned “Young Social Innovators of the Year”. Find out more.
