Inspired by the opportunity for creativity that photography offers to everyone, Ciara’s idea is to use the hashtag #covidcaptures when uploading pictures online, so people can share their experiences at this time.

Offering the opportunity to come together in a shared experience, people can include photos which represent what this time means for them, what life during Coronavirus is like in their communities and enable them to communicate their experiences in a visual way.

Ciara also suggests that people can take inspiration from others’ photos and put their own creative spin on their photographs. Many people have access to cameras on their phones or tablets and the idea is also inclusive as it includes people who are new to photography, right through to experienced photographers.
