Having experienced the difficulty in buying day-to-day necessities as a result of the current restrictions, Man Kei, 16, from Dublin came up with an idea to make sure people in her community could access the products they need.

Due to the quite sudden impact of government guidelines, people were not prepared and Man Kei noticed that initially people could not access daily necessities in the same way as they usually would and were limited in their ability to buy supplies.

Taking inspiration from takeaway delivery services, she thought it could be helpful to create a similar service to deliver food and grocery supplies to people in need. In addition to delivering food, the delivery person could also buy daily necessities in the supermarket, and then deliver it to those who cannot do so themselves.

Man Kei believes this service could support those who are cocooning or isolated at this time.
