Rory would like to show his appreciation for frontline workers and healthcare staff everywhere. He believes they deserve to be commended and supported, especially at this time when they are working so hard.

His idea is for people to write a letter of appreciation to their local health centre or hospital, pharmacy or care home, simply to thank the staff for their efforts. It would not only be good for staff to receive messages of support and appreciation, but it is also a positive activity for people who may be at home, and looking for a way to contribute.

Rory’s aim for his idea is to spread positivity and support to healthcare workers, showing them how much they mean to everyone, how their courage is making a real difference,  and hopefully motivating them as they continue to work during the pandemic.
